I'm planning to get a Rounders clone set a bit like KGB panda, but starring my cat. I tried to get him to pose, with limited success:

Do you have any tips about what digital tools or AI would best help me turn these into a grey-scale clipart style pic, that is very similar to the bear, but still recognizably this cat?

Any basic photo editing software should let you convert to monochrome and boost the contrast to make it similar to the KGB bear on the Rounders chips. You might need to do some basic cutting the cat out of the background, but this isn't a terribly difficult project to do.

I've been trying to work on my Kitten Kastle April fools label but the ai is fickle it won't generate minimalist designs.

I was busy working when I sent my reply this morning, but also didn't have my Wacom tablet handy to do anything even vaguely precise in Photoshop. Here's the three minute ballpark idea of what I was mentioning. I did a half-assed job of extracting the cat from the background, but pumped up the contrast to make it more like the bear on the Rounders chips.

These are great, thanks for the suggestions!

I found Pixlr.com which did AI background remove and style change for free, I also found another pick with the tail down, which might be a bit more bear like. The edges are still a bit rough, but I can do it more slowly once the idea works.

Wondering if the completely black silhouette above is better than keeping a bit of detail, or maybe I can try to recreate some of the shading on the bear.

Personally, if the chips were depicting my own pet, I'd want it to be discernable... more an image than a silhouette. Can still be grayscale while accomplishing this imo.
