These have the normal CC odor like new, although its almost unnoticeable now, they've been unboxed so long. Don’t know when any change in the manufacturing occurred, but I’ve had these for a couple years. I bought some of them used and some new.

I'm thinking maybe you have these confused with Dunes, that have two CC version's and a plastic version, in addition to the Paulson versions. I haven't bought any of these recently, so can't say for certain they didn't change their recipe, but I don't think they ever had a "plastic" version.

i know what you’re saying about the dunes but after buying 4-5 different groups of racks from chippers there were definitely some that had a smell and felt more like clay (older ones were crumbling) and some that had no smell at all and didn’t feel as much like clay.

I just purchased some new ones from Apache last week that arrived yesterday and had no smell right out of the packaging and had the similar not-as-much-like-clay feel to them. Then again APache said there’s been no change to the formula so who knows?

What's the story on the 12th rack? It looks like a few of $25, $100, $500, and $1000.

Yes, I had the 12th rack as an option originally, but it went with the tournament set. There seems to be a lot of interest in this, I may clean up the ad and repost.
