I could really use two racks of these showboat grey chips...happy to buy or trade.

In the CDM, it's a T100 or T100,000. It appears to be in the Horseshoe Gardena set as a T25 or T100. Not sure what other chip sets may also include these, but I'd love to pick up a couple minty racks of them (and perhaps some other denoms from these sets). Please let me know if you can help.

The 100 and 100k look like different base colors to me. Just something to think about.

@Steppenwolf , are you looking exclusively for CDMs?

Those colors and spots were used by Paulson for a few home sets, like the Gardenas, Dogs, Viva Las Vegas, Le Coves, etc. Some used the exact same chips, others, just a few of the those chips mixed in with unique ones.

Not exclusively CDMs. I'm hoping to label over the greys for use as $5k chips with my 98 CDIs. I bought some other VLVs this week and I noticed that Le Cove used the same molds, but I haven't seen the showboat grey in either. What denom is it used for? Thanks so much for the great info.

Like these? Not the cheapest option, though.

It is my understanding that the shaped-inlay chips were ordered but never delivered, and were subsequently sold in the Las Vegas Paulson store. Paulson also later produced additional Horseshoe Casino chips for sale in their store with round inlays and in other denominations.

More importantly for us chip geeks, the awesome chip colors / spot patterns / color combos used for the Horseshoe Casino chips were also later used to create chips in different Paulson home-market fantasy sets -- Le Cove, Casino de Mexico, Foxy's Firehouse, the $1000 chips in the Casino de Isthmus and Fabulous Las Vegas sets, and in many, many other fantasy sets.

Nearly all of the older Paulson home sets have a color/spot heritage link back to the Horseshoe Casino chips. That historical significance should be worth an extra $100 or so at auction...."

$100 extra per rack? So are these about $3.50 to $4 chip (minty)?

:sneaky::sneaky::sneaky: Not shaped inlays though:

They might become available at some point as I make decisions about some sets but right now, I'm about a 4 to 1 to keep the $25s and about a 3 to 1 to keep the $100. That is, in my mind, LOL!
Are these odds independent of or dependent on one another? In other words, is it one or the other, or do you plan to keep both? If not, I'd be happy with either rack. LOL!!! But if yes, then perhaps we can talk and I can attempt to change the odds in my favor.

Independent, for the most part. They would be used in two different mixed set. Why for the most part? 'Cause there's a chance I build a Tourney set with with this chips, plus the Black and the Fuchsia.

As soon as I have some more clarity, I'll reach out, man. I won't see them before I give you the heads-up.
