Hello fellow chippers. In May I will be participating in The Police Unity Tour for National Police Week in Washington DC along with officers from all across the country. I will be on the motor escort detail for the bike riders going through NJ, PA, MD, and DC. Everybody is there to raise awareness for officers that have been killed in the line of duty and to raise funds for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial (NLEOM). We ride for those who died. I ride for Officer Chris Cortijo, who I worked with in a unit for 10 years. My current partner rides for his father Officer Paul Verna, who was killed when he was a young boy.
Each participant in the tour must raise a minimum of $1800. Each officer is responsible for their own transportation to and from the east coast as well as meals and other expenses. A few of my partners and I have had these challenge coins (Card protectors) and T-shirts made in order to raise the funds we need to accomplish our goal. All of the proceeds will go to NLEOM.
Any and all donations / contributions are truly appreciated.
Coins are $15 each or 3 for $40 (in any combination of the two coin designs) Pictures are of both sides of one coin. They do not have the same thing on both sides.
Shirts are $20 each (back print). Pm if you would like any of the items.
$3 for postage in US.
$10 shipping to Canada
Coin #1 (silver with wheel & arrow)
Coin #2 (gold sprocket) the "140" on this coin represents the number of officers killed in all of 2016 and their names will be added to the memorial.
Shirt #1 (black with orange & white)
Shirt #2 (Grey with black skyline)
