@Neilimixam...I adore Chartreuse! Can you guess what I'm drinking tonight? Here are the ingredients:

A greenpoint

One of my faves, but I prefer classic angostura
Correct!

I will try with Ango next time, rather than orange.

Also love an ultima palabra . Have turned many people on to that drink
I have not tried it. Thanks for the tip. I love drinks with pineapple, as long as the acid is balanced with more lime or lemon. What are your specs?

Witchcraft?
Is that a cocktail? I'm not familiar with it. What are the specs?

The ultima palabra doesn’t have pineapple in it, it’s a last word but with mezcal subbed in for gin.

0.75 mezcal
0.75 lime juice
0.75 luxardo maraschino
0.75 green chartreuse

Garnish with a luxardo cherry

Also, love that you drink your Greenpoint in a Nick and Nora! My fave cocktail glass

Diffords guide failed me :((it calls for pineapple):

I agree with you...Nick and Noras are my preferred "up" glasses.

You know...I'm gonna mix up a half pour of this now. I'm curious...

You have another convert!

Although I like Last Words, I find them difficult to balance...the Maraschino can be a bit astringent if truly equal parts; the choice of gin matters with so many competing herbs already in the Chartreuse. Mezcal lets the Chartreuse's already perfect herbal balance shine and the smokiness/savoriness takes the edge off of the Maraschino, somehow. Thanks for the introduction to a new friend!

Glad you like it! It’s such a great drink. Smokey, herbaceous, citrusy, and a little sweet at the same time, a nice bakance
