Scouting for a friend of ours in our neighborhood who wants a decent used cash set but without the price tag of Paulsons, CPC’s, etc. Feeling the waters to see what some people might have. Let’s say budget is around $100-150 since I’m probably just going to give it to him as a gift so he can at least have a starter set.

Used metal slug Monte Carlos like here? If new is 13 cents a chip then maybe used is half that?

Never thought about those, although after looking noticed they don't have a frac. They play low stakes cash games with the fam.

Was just browsing. I can get him a 300-400 set from one of those metal slug options for about $60-70 out the door. Fair enough.

Get some China Clays from Apache. Maybe even spice it up with some 43mm chips to really fuel the addiction.
