Look for 40-50 dirty casino used Paulson chips for testing out a cleaning solution that may just be awesome. (no pun intended - they make an "Awesome" cleaner) I only had one casino used dirty chip to test. So far, it looks very promising without causing any fading.

How dirty do they have to be? I've got a couple racks of $1 chips that I just harvested, but they're not like stuck together gross. Just regular dirty white chips.

White chips would be a great to test but I don't want to test on chips you may want. Maybe I can check eBay too.
