Hello!
I'm new here - been lurking for a few months reading up on chips. I live down in Houston and play home games ~1/month. Sometimes I host and sometimes others host, though I usually end up toting my chips around even when not hosting.
I used some online poker winnings to buy my first set over 10 years ago on eBay - a 600x Palais Des Congres. Chips were a lot cheaper then!
My chips have been great, but I'm now interested in collecting a few original WSOP chips and putting together a set of custom Paulson's. I bought ~850 Cleveland's for this purpose but realized after I bought them the difference between worn vs new chips - I picked up some of both. Also learning how gear labels might work on RHC vs THC - thinking THC might be a better option.
Anyhow I'll be around buying/selling chips and maybe posting whatever customs I come up with at some point.
