Introducing my new set... Chessie's Cove.

I've been a chipper for quite a while now, but it took my moving back to Maryland last year to be inspired to create my very own custom set. I wanted something whimsical and fun, but at the same time a set that meant something to me. The idea of Chessie's cove covered all of the bases.

For those of you not from Maryland, Chessie is a mythical sea creature that allegedly roams the Chesapeake Bay area (Think the Loch Ness Monster with a Bawlmer accent). As I live mere minutes from the bay now (you all can kayak there from my house if you come to a meetup), I think Chessie's cove has both whimsical and close to home covered.

I reached out to @Toby for the inlay design, and he went to work right away. I asked for a retro-cartoony design, I could not be more pleased with the results.

The base colors and the edge spots fit well with the theme in my opinion. Some remind of nautical themes, some remindof the local area (naval academy colors inspired the fracs and the Orioles inspired the $100s), while the $25 are my vision of Chessie herself.

I hope you all enjoy these chips as much as I do!

These are fantastic! The color combo on the $100 is awesome. However, the $1 is just so simple and so awesome. It's my favorite of the entire set. That's a bright white base used, right?

Fantastic! Congrats. The set has a nice theme and an old school feel.

The $5 and $25 are my favs, but I love the frac as well. Is that a maroon base on the 5? So great to see a large crown set!

If there’ll be samples, I’d be in ;)

Even if I wasn’t partial towards MD PCF Fam…
I’d still be suuuuper stoked on that inlay!:cool
I love this set on several levels!
Congrats man! This is truly a master piece and extremely well done! I hope to one day have a seat at the table when these get felted :)

HELL YEAH RICK !!

These look fantastic. . Great job as usual @Toby

Great color choices.

Lmao those are awesome Rick!! I really had my Hope's up for Mermen... but this will do! I'm headed over for Hanukkah this year, hopefully I can win a capper over a serious game of Draddle! Mazel Tov brother!!

Can't wait to play them in person!

Mermen will have to be the add-on secondary order

Love this set!!! Well done! The set seems so cohesive. Also really digging that frac!

Pictures aren't all loading for me, so haven't seen the maroon five. But the hundo is sick! And I absolutely love the large crown mold. Well done
