I'll do a test print, cut the 4 corners and stick it on to a chip box...

I cheated with the inlay on this one ; )

Very nice! I label the ends, it sure makes it easy to grab the correct rack.

I remember exactly this post, but i didn‘t found it, and thought to push this great idea a bit further…

Maybe a mix between the two could be nice too?
One side with a label like yours, and the rest shows the chips.

But i didn‘t checked yet if it fits well - i will do a test print later. I don‘t have a printer here…

…it’s like the chips are in a acrylic birdcage!
This is even better and easier to shoot the pics - let them in a rack! But you have to stretch the pic a bit...

I did a test print and it's not so bad. Better than the original box!
The sides should be 38mm not 36mm.

With better pics and a better printer/sheets the result would be cool.

Definately a fun project for bad weather days : )

This is a cool idea.

I guess we (PCF) can extend this by providing stock images/plan for classic sets. Blank plan and already filled with chips plans.
Imagine a bank/database where you can find all racks from our sets ... would be cool.
Willing to help on something if needed.

Of course this would be great to have a databank like the chipsets have!

But it needs 3 face pics of the rack/barrel…

This is the biggest issue.

AI or whatever file template is easy…

I stretched the pics a bit to avoid too much ‚empty space‘:

I'll try to reprint with the adapted images later...

I would like to share all the templates i do, if some one is interested?
Problem is the 2mb(?) limit for uploads, and my limited "collection" of original chips ; )

And the way i do... iphone11 and a LED lamp. It's ok for me, but there is better equipment for sure.

For now, there's no other way than take the pics yourself.
Or a guy with a portable photo studio visits a PCF meet-up and does his job... ; )

Template for CPC boxes is next i'll try.

Are there such boxes for IHC/FHC 43/48mm chips?

Of course this would be great to have a databank like the chipsets have!
If there is enought interest I can do a web site (open source on Github) with categories & where anyone can contribute, add chips and informations (photos, info, etc ..) and rebuild itself like i have done for historic poker videos on French ClubPoker ...
I'll just have to check how i can merge images (template and photos) automatically in gohugo.io. But i think it is doable.

Interested. :)

I printed the CPC box label and works not bad!
Best results would be printing full A4 sheet no boarder.
Happy with the result!
