Planning to get the new tribal mask collection from BR PRO Poker, Reminds me a lot of the tiki kings which i love. Likely running 1/1, 5/5 and 25/50 games. This is a 2000 chip denom breakdown. Would love the community's thoughts regarding this.
Blue ($1): 400 chips
Red ($5): 600 chips
Green ($25): 500 chips
Black ($100): 300 chips
Purple ($500): 100 chips
Yellow ($1000): 50 chips
White ($5000): 30 chips
Pink ($25000): 20 chips

Adding a note, may help bump for others to respond.
Recommend a quick calc of how much total $ will be in play for the 25/50 game. Then do a check if you have enough chips, remembering you wouldn't have the 1s or 5s in play.

Actually, you may want to do that for each game. May find you don't need so many 1s.

Is this real dollars you’re playing in? If you’re playing all the way up to $25/$50, then it would be a good idea to get something that isn’t so readily available on a website just for security reasons.

My PCF brain is taking over and saying if you’re playing those stakes you can spare a buy in and get a glorious Paulson set.

Yeah if it were me running a 25/50 game I would go as far as full custom chips and possibly start looking at the extra security features like UV markings. That is a lot of money on the table.

Would that be hiring a designer and then going somewhere to manufacture them? any recommendations in terms of manufacturer? I saw that BR PRO poker as one of the better chip makers.

Would those paulsons be custom made? where do people usually get paulsons?

Unfortunately Paulson no longer sells to individuals. You can search through the classified section and find a set you like. And if you want to customize those you can reach out to a label supplier like Gear or sticker mule.

If you want to make a custom clay set, your best bet is to go through classic poker chips (CPC).

Like you said in your earlier message it would be a good idea to talk with designers since you’re new. I would highly recommend that you take your time with this! There’s no need to rush.

I think the set you’re looking at would be good to run the 1/1 and 5/5 for now while you wait and learn more about chips and what you like.

BR PRO Poker makes good stuff. And yeah finding a designer here on the site and having them help you make custom ceramics is a good option. Tina's ceramics are very popular on the site. They are a custom manufacturer out of China.

As far as designers I've worked wtih @efdenny and he is great. But there are a lot of designers here on the site that can help you for a small fee.

For Paulsons you would have to buy them here on the site or another secondary market as Paulson does not sell directly to anyone who isnt a Casino.

Would it make sense to contact a designer and then get brpro / Tina to make them? Also what are Tina ceramics better than Brpro?

From what I understand BRPro poker just does textured plain poker chips, Tina ceramics have multiple molds. You can see a quite a few of the options the Broken Arrow Cardrooms group buys he runs (https://www.pokerchipforum.com/forums/broken-arrow-cardroom-supply.172/). Lots of available designs with his group buys, normally I would say order through him is the easiest, but he only ships to US.

But yeah your best bet would be find a designer and then get what you want and have it made by either BR Pro or through Tina.

Will you simultaneously be running multiple stakes? How many tables at which stakes will be running at the same time?

nope different stakes would be run on different days, thus i need a more versatile chip denom
Then you would never need all those chips. you could probably do:

$1 x 200
$5 x 300
$25 x 300
$100 x 300

This totals a bank of $39,200.

Then you could add however many large denominations to fill your bank. Some have skipped the $500 chips, and gone straight to the $1000's, but that's a personal preference. Maybe 200 x $1000 chips, and 20 x $5000?
