I'm working on a cash set for my friend's home game. Looking for some edge spot and color feedback. They'll be on Tina 43mm textured no mold. Inlay isn't final, but it'll be something moose or lodge related. Due to limitations in the Paulson Chips Design Tool, the below image shows a 39mm $1 and $5.

I'm thinking 2D14 for the $1 and 4D18 on the $5. Thoughts? Uggg? Basic? Thoughts on the progression of the edge spots?

Thanks

Personally, I'd find it more logical to go for : 2D14; 3D14; 4D18; 4DS18; 4W

From this lineup last one (all diff shades of green) seems best
This one?

I like it too. But it's monochrome and seems outta place. Feels like an entire set needs to be monochrome in order to work. Kinda barf, kinda wow. I think I like this spot progression tho.

Yeah, difinitely not a fan of monochromes, but that might just be me.
Allow me to throw a curveball. How about something like this?

Have you considered matching the inlay background to the base color or a dark spot color on each chip type, and then knocking the antlers/denim out of it in white/the lightest spot color?

It's certainly an option especially if they're going on ceramics. The moose inlay is just kind of a place holder now but that's a neat direction it could go.

Kinda like this...but without the gross ring?

Yep… Or on that chip you could use the darker green edgespot color as the background if you don’t want the chip to look too monochrome (though personally I like that look).

I think if you color match the denom, also matching the logo is unnecessary. The logo may look great in black. I would also be careful to not use a dark gray inside the deer art, as it will likely turn darker and look black as well.
Regarding the green, I think the more saturated colors print better on no-molds…and lighter, faded colors get even lighter and more faded when printed.

This is a quick-and-dirty Photoshop job but you get the idea. I’d have to see them all as a group to say whether this is the way I’d go.

Fer sure. The Moose is just a place holder for the most part. I'm in @mattross1313 's queue so I'm confident we'll reach something more stylish for the inlay, but this feedback is great to see other paths this project could take.

I kind of like it as well. Kinda reminds me of the CPS cash chips.
