It's a P22 pattern (4v418). Pretty common, although it usually uses two different spot colors.

One side of Paulson 'V' spots are rounded, the opposite side spots are sharper.

They are two different grays, the 1/8” darker gray spots also have brass flakes mixed in.

Thanks. Not sure that I understand this last part correctly. The $1000 chip also has "V" spots, but they look much sharper than the spots on the 500, which look almost round?

Flip that $1000 chip over, and those 'V' spots will be rounded.

The difference has to do with which side gets pressed down during production.
