Hi All,

This is the introductory post using the "Chip Pick" designation (see link below for background):

http://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/chip-flipping.15632/

I found these chips on eBay. There are 579 Desert Diamond Casino BJ chips that were used for dealer practice, according to Chip Guide (link below). The chips are in casino used condition.

The cool part about this is that the top of the shipping box from Bud Jones to DDC was removed and is included (original shipping was 21 years ago). I am considering keeping them, but need to stick to my guns and at least try to release them into the community.

Price is $125 + shipping (domestic or international). Not splitting at the moment, but that could change.

Usual sale language applies. Dibs can be made in the thread or via PM.

Thanks so much for looking. Please hit me up with any questions.

Price reduced. I apologize if my valuation is off. Not too familiar with casino BJ chips. Price is now $325 + shipping. Thanks all!

Neat. If I had a use for plain colored chips I'd be on this one. Unfortunately I've still got 1000+ official casino weight dice. GLWS!

Lol. Wow. They just happen to be the exact colors I've been joking about in a design I've been working on...i now call those colors the star trek shirt palette. Do those chips have a recess at all?

That's awesome. Yes, looks like a slight recess. I sent you a PM with more details. Thanks!

I do actually like these. I think I'm going to have to pass however. I'm working on putting together some chips, which im hoping to use cpc for that will be used exclusively on my craps table. These would put a big dent in that dream. I appreciate the offer but must decline..

If you have any interest in owning these chips, please PM me. I don't want price to be a deterrent. I grabbed them because I really liked the history and felt like they needed to be a part of this community. Thanks!

Final price reduction (for real this time :D). $150 + shipping. < 26 cents for casino BJ chips.

solid price boss. They just don't fit my needs. That, and if I keep spending my poker winnings on chips I won't have any money to actually play poker lol.

Ok, final final price  :ROFLMAO:. I absolutely have to keep these if not sold for $125. They are too cool not to. That's ~21 cents for Bud Jones Dealer training chips used in Desert Diamond Casino.

Side note: I apologize for all the reductions. When I bought these, I thought they were worth $1 a chip because of the uniqueness of them. That's why I listed for 65 cents, to give someone the opportunity to earn a cool piece at a good price. I obviously way overvalued them. I'm sorry if that was viewed poorly.

This is absolutely not a threadcrap, but since you're thinking out loud, my 2 cents is I don't think undenominated chips get a whole lot of interest here, unless they're really cheap.

Thank you, I agree. Lesson learned. I picked these up these purely for collector purposes, not to put in play. However, if someone wanted to slap a label on, that was an option as well. I thought someone in the community would enjoy them more than me, so I snagged them. However, I'm not disappointed if I have to keep them. Probably just Paulson and TRK for chip picks going forward though.

Also, keep a look out on the eBay/Craigslist thread because I also post links to things that are either too big to ship or the person won't ship. I'm really trying to bring some good stuff into the group, just whiffed on my first few.
