Any one know who makes these heavy duty racks with the size on it?

I used to get these racks (both 66.7 & 67.7 branded) from a Yahoo store called Casino Discount Supplies but that store has closed down over a year ago and I have not been able to find another source. They were the best and very reasonably priced. Would love to find who makes these as well.

I've not been able to locate a current retailer for these.

I need about 16 of the racks. :(

I got a few of them with some chips that I bought. Paulsons and BJ chips fit like a glove in them.

They have these exact racks at my casino. The casino has BJ cash chips but Paulson tourney chips. So likely GPI?

Nope, all GPI-produced racks are branded (either BJ, B&G, or Paulson). The generic 66.7 and 67.7 branded racks have been around for awhile, but nobody knows who manufactured them.

Most likely your local casino bought them from a casino supplies distributor, like Midwest Gaming.

I have a bunch of those 66.7 racks that I also bought from Discount Casino Supplies (yahoo storefront iirc) and I love them. The only thing I don't like is that they don't stack very easily -- the bottoms aren't flared at all, so the opening is still 66.7 mm. Nice and snug in the barrels to hold the chips, but the same snug when they sit on top of another rack of chips (which is a bit too snug.)

Did that make any sense?

I might have a lead on these. Just contacting the vendor to see if I can get some better pics and verify if they're the right version or not.

Couple pics -

Excellent! Can we also get a profile pic, please? How do they stack?

Also, does that knob in the middle of the underside get in the way of stacking at all? I've seen some where it protrudes out too much and makes the racks wobble when stacked.

This looks exactly like the ones from Casino Discount Supplies. Same way they were packed as well, including the "Made in China" sticker. I still have a couple in the wrapper both 66.7 & 67.7 (see pic). Did they come 10 per cardboard box? Unfortunately they are twice the price with Spinetti's shipping but that sure looks like them.

I just realized that the chips on the ends do not sit flush.

Paulson rack in back, the "66.7" rack is in the front.

No problem with stacking racks. A little play but definitely no wobble.

I don't see the chip seating problem on the ones that I got from a few years back.

I remember the price from CDS store was about $2.60 or so per rack so they were a good deal at the time i thought.

Ok. I took some more detailed pics of the racks I got from Spinetti's recently, and they seem to be better quality than what's listed. I'm probably going to sound like an advertisement below, but I just wanted to respond to some comments and questions above. I'm very pleased with the 66.7 racks I just bought from Spinetti's.

I've not been able to locate a current retailer for these.
Link to Spinetti's here: Chip tray Clear Acrylic, for 39mm chips (66.7mm & 67.7mm Insert)

Same for the Spinetti's.

Yes, that made sense. The ones I got from Spinetti's have a very, very, slight flare at the bottom, maybe 1 or 2 mm larger. So they fit snug, but a little more wiggle space when stacked.

Do they have the number stamped on the bottom (like the OP)?
Yes. But if I look close, the font is different on the Spinetti's ones - the bottom of the 6 is a larger 'circle'. Could mean different manufacturer or different run when made.

See more pics below. There is a knob in the middle of the Spinetti's, however, it did not seem to get in the way of stacking. In the pics where racks are stacked 6 high, the racks all seemed to rest evenly on each of the 5 barrels from the rack.

Yes, they were packed the same way, 10 packed snug in a box. Shipping at Spinetti's was expensive, $18 - $20 for 10 or 20 racks, however, I bundled my racks with some other chips I bought from them at the same time, so my shipping for the racks ended up being much less.

I just realized that the chips on the ends do not sit flush.
I've seen this before on other older racks. The Spinetti's ones did not have this problem for me. All 5 barrels sit flush.

Excellent! Now for the real question...

Will a mint Paulson chip rest in the bottom of all five barrels, top to bottom? Or are the sides of the barrel just slightly too narrow like most racks? There are some cheaper 66.7 racks where they will sit in the middle barrel properly, but the outer barrels are just barely too narrow and the chip rests on the sides rather than the bottom.

I think Avalon Gaming have the same racks

You have to create an account to view pricing ($2.33e)

Hard to tell from pics but look like they might be the same

They seem to be the same to me as well. Do you happen to know if they sell to the general public?

By the way, they have some serious chip storage cabinets.

All the chips lie flat in the racks that I have that look like these (the numbered racks).

Found an old box from the 67.7 racks and the part number looks to be the same (CRK039-67) as Spinetti's, so it's looking like they are from the same manufacturer. Gonna go ahead and order some 66.7's (CRK039-66) from Spinetti's.

Also found some 67.7's racks at Amazon with the same part number. Ordered some of those as well ($25 per 10 pack w/free shipping). Much better pricing but they only have the 67.7's racks not the 66.7's.

Of course part numbers don't always mean anything but I will compare these with the older versions from CDS when they arrive.

Nice detective work!

They don't ship to the UK unfortunately.

Anyone have any idea how much shipping from US to UK might be on 20 racks?

Just goes to show, part numbers mean nothing. Amazon racks arrived today and are nothing but generic crap. Thin walled, unbranded and not even 67.7, more like 68.333. Cross these off the list.

Original 67.7 on bottom, cheap Amazon rack on top.

Original 67.7 fits mint ASM A-molds snug. Amazon, not so much,

.

Still waiting on Spinetti racks, more to follow.

Boo. Thanks for taking that one for the team, though. (Can you return them?)

Maybe, seeing as they were a third party fulfillment I might just throw them in the extras pile. I'll check them with some china clays, they might fit them.

That's a bummer, @TheBigTater :(

I have not heard back from Avalon. I'm trying their sales manager for a contact. Will phone the fkers if I don't get a response.

I couldn't place an order to the UK - their ecommerce system was not sophisticated enough to calculate the shipping..!
