Chip recommendations for UK (2 Viewers)

I'm relatively new to the hobby and have found that poker chips are limited here in the UK, any recommendations for European makers as I don't want to pay extortionate prices for US chips. I recently bought Juego pro embossed chips 200 25's as they were cheap but can't find any other denoms so just made my own denoms of the 25's with stickers. I also bought the Copag 300 set and find the quality to be okay. Has anyone else had any experience with this set and have opinions?

So there is a german website that is selling Majestics and Milanos.

They are however quite expensive... Maybe its still cheaper than shipping them from the US. Regarding paulsons I have not found a source in europe outside of this forum.

Same as above, majestics can be had at some european retailers and milanos. A few ceramics also. You may also be able to build a mixed paulson set from members in the uk and europe and relabel if that is your wish.

Hi and welcome. The copag 300 set is just another slugged chip. If you find this good quality you would be blown away what you find here in the classifieds. My suggestion is to get in on the upcoming TCR sale that is starting this Sunday if you want to acquire paulsons at the best price possible.
Or just get some other chips at the classifieds. Pokershop.de offers China clays , and they’re priced at 0.69€ / chip. If that works for you go for it. He’s a member here too and very good guy to work with. @Eriks maybe you can add something to this here , as you been a veteran compared to me haha.

Nothing to add really . I’ve bought and sold plenty through the classifieds. It’s the number one chip resource for sure

Thanks for the advice, it appears as though the Milanos and Majestics are roughly double the cost per chip on .de compared to an American site like Apache sigh. Are these the middle ground and then Paulsons top tier? What sets them apart, what makes the Milanos and Majestics higher quality than my metal insert Copags?

First off if you are considering ordering majestics from somewherre in the US like apache then i would reconsider and go for the royal cardroom chips instead if your budget will cover it. colours and edge spots are better IMO.

Milanos and majestics and royals are all china clays or CC. made in china with material not as good as genuine paulsons or keywest/CPC chips. I would say yes middle of the road chips but they are no where near as nice as paulsons or even some ceramic chips. When you have them infront of you with genuine casino chips the difference is obvious. Saying that they are a good and affordable way to have "casino" feeling clay chips. I have milanos for tournament set right now although i do own paulsons also.

TCR stands for the chip room and you need 10 posts to be able to access the classfields section. TCR has a big sale starting tomorrow on the chips he has just gotten from the Jack cincinatti casino now they are rebranding. There is thousands up for sale.
