I love seeing a chips weight, and along my journey of collecting and building my HotRod set, I’ve encountered all sorts of variations.

So, this thread will be for chips on scales pr0n

Singles, barrels, whatever you wanna do. Get that chip on the scale and let’s enjoy the information we can build in a single thread.

If you’d like (to help searches) list the chip information, etc. I will now dump a mega ton of singles from my set.

Kings Crown TRK Solids

Leaded TRK hot stamps are over 12g, I used to own some. So I am not surprised that this TRK Mint $5 chip and TRK Mapes $1 chip are 11g+. The PCA $500 is leaded as well.

This is interesting. There’s no doubt these dunes baccarats are fully leaded and 43mm, but these stacks of ten show that they come in at 11.1-12.2g apiece.
They certainly don’t feel like lightweights.
It’s important to remember that inlaid chips will always weigh less than hot stamps, but that doesn’t explain it all away. My theory is that the Dunes house mold just uses less clay than other 43mm molds due to all that ornate writing.
So anybody holding on to a rack of Baccarat $5s, feel free to sell those lightweights to me.
