The cash denoms are easily worth $1+ IMOSeller is living in fantasy land if he thinks he is going to get anywhere near $1.70 / chip for fantasy Chipcos.
These are my second favorite fantasy line and I'd love to have a high-denom tournament set.
But I don't think the value on these should be anything over 75c / chip.
I've only been here a year, but I don't think I've seen any chipcos sell for a buck apiece. The cash denoms are easily worth $1+ IMO
I've bought and sold Vineyards at $1.I've only been here a year, but I don't think I've seen any chipcos sell for a buck apiece.
Yup. Now that you mention it, I think some sold at that price last week.I've bought and sold Vineyards at $1.
As with everything, supply and demand. There still isn't anything exactly like Chipco out there now. Even GO feels different to me. So if you like the old stuff and want it, people are going to pay (like me and Vineyard). I wouldn't pay $1+ for beat up faded casino used probably but the premium stuff like this set is great.Yup. Now that you mention it, I think some sold at that price last week.
I was wrong - maybe I'm thinking more casino Chipcos?
I hear that. I'm not bashing chipcos - I like them a lot. I've been building a small mixed casino set of chipcos; that's why I've been paying attention to prices. There still isn't anything exactly like Chipco out there now.
My original comment had more to do with them not being listed to a wider audience.
I would love to buy these, even at this price.
Unfortunately the seller is only accepting local buyers and cash and I live in France![]()
Considering the going rates for the octagons and the plaques as well as the pure silver dealer button ($110 at holdempokerchips), it's actually more around $1/chip ...Seller is living in fantasy land if he thinks he is going to get anywhere near $1.70 / chip for fantasy Chipcos.
