I'm finally getting around to making this set happen, but keep second guessing myself. It'll be .25, $1, $5, $20 denoms - absolutely no need for $100's at this point, but if I do, I imagine a cali-style oversized chip in an absurd color.

What is your opinion on these $1 chip options? I'm a fan of these two because they are whats available to me (I love harvesting them and already have a healthy amount of each), but obviously both are in high demand and I could trade for a better suited chip. Let me know if you can think of something better. It would pain me to mill the Sam's Town hot stamp, which is making me lean more towards the JN.

I'm still stuck on the labels, but this was most latest mockup (my street name has River in it, hence the name)

If anybody knows anybody who has any more of the red $5's, let me know. I believe they were a somewhat standard design as far as colors and edge spots but these ones had a "RPR" hot stamp. Would love an additional rack.

If you do a cali-colored $100, that would probably be white ....... so Sams Town blue would make sense for the $1. However those Jerry's are really nice. Win WIn either way

Why would it pain you to mill the hot stamp? Are you milling the fun nites? Technical issue, or beauty issue? Sams town is a lower end locals casino in Vegas, so the significance of the stamp is minimal

The Fun Nite's are plain chips that can be easily found. IMHO I believe many members here including myself like the simplicity and class of the Sam's Town hot stamp. I know that the casino isn't glamorous as I have harvested a few racks there myself (better than Jerry's by a long shot), but to deface a mint live casino chip just seems irresponsible.
WITH all that said, it will be my set, and the resale value of the chip technically should not matter to me. It does sit in the back of my head though! I like the idea of an oversized white one hundred in the future, so it's looking like Sam's Town will probably be the winner - I'll have to sleep on it though.

Blue and beautiful Sam's Town hands down for the $1 chip!
You could make the white chip your hundo, which could still see the felt in case you would play with the denominations as dimes, for the sake of variety:)

Label-wise, I tend to prefer the one with the bigger fonts, on the right side of your picture. Probably you could have the denoms written in a color different than black.
Nice set!

I love the Jerry's Nuggets chips, but the Sam's Town chips fit much better in your spot progression.
