Not sure, but Munzell is the closest match to the ones I have.FYI.. after looking at the photos, i don't think the BJs are Munzel Green, it's hard to color match with my limited lighting lol
I guess i'm not as colorblind as i thought i was lol.Not sure, but Munzell is the closest match to the ones I have.
I am pretty sure they are heavily leaded - 10.75g![]()
If all barrels accounted I’m game. Would sell them at $40/per barrel plus ship.Interested in a barrel of the BCC Desert Palms if you'd be willing to split them up.
I'm trying to get a barrel from every major manufacturer for a project / my general collection, and BCC chips seem pretty rare in the classifieds here! Thanks
These could be the chips that Jim (TCR) started replicating and making, but I don’t know the exact history, so don’t take my word for it. lolI've been digging around PCF figuring out the history. Does this look right:
-Desert Palms chips get made by BCC targeting the home market (presumably BCC makes this custom mold and starts production)
-BCC gets bought out by GPI
-Later other companies make Desert Palms chips first as China Clays, then cheap plastic, using the same look (even the same actual mold?)
Basically these original Desert Palms were well received, and so other companies started knocking them off? Or did someone buy out the rights to the mold and simply start manufacturing with different materials?
Thanks!
