I am proud to show off the personal chip set of none other than former professional poker player Clyde Coleman (1940-2018)

Most notably Mr. Coleman placed 6th at the 1992 Main Event.

Not much footage of him is out there. Probably the only interview or final table coverage he’s in are the video that these still shots came from.

The person who sold me the chips said that they interacted with a bunch of the old school players back in the late 80’s to mid-90’s.

Mr. Coleman was a farmer by trade in Oklahoma but spent considerable time in Vegas. He gifted many pictures and items to his relatives. I’m told of an autographed copy of Supersystem and pictures with the greats.

Here is his personal chip sets. I was able to get them shipped to me from Oklahoma.

Seriously though this is a cool find. How did you ever come across these?
The guy who won the 1994 World Series Main Event was a diabolical man from the Detroit area named Russ Hamilton. He.was involved in a huge online poker scandal 20 years ago or so. I used to play poker with a guy who knew him well when he lived here.

Russ Hamilton also got his weight in silver for winning the main. He added a bunch of weight to himself somehow so he was heavy when he got weighed in. Almost 50 extra lbs. Scumbag through and through.

I found them on marketplace and got his relative to agree to ship the chips. His listed price was $40 for both cases...

He agreed to ship the chips and I sent him almost double our agreed upon price including shipping. He was such a cool dude he included the cases in the shipping.
