I'm currently trying to get a set to be able to host a weekly cash game of 1 1 with 100 to 200 buy in with around 500 chips.

I've been researching a lot and am trying to get a set I won't feel too worried about getting a bit beat down on but also are pretty nice to play with and feel good, so that I can run a full table game with food and etc.

I've seen options like cheaper clay or abs sets like outlaws and casino royales, I really like the look of the casino royales to be honest.

I do think a softer clay set would also be a good fit like one of apache's sets like majestic or dunes.

Lastly I've also heard of Tinas and from there being able to get something more similar to the Taj chips from apache, basically some nice ceramics in the "web" or "greek" mold.

My budget is around 200 for 500 chips, just looking for recommendations or advice on where I'd be able to find the best thing that would suit my needs.

I can while heartedly recommend Outlaws for abs chips. I also really like Majestics for China clays. Tinas take months to arrive and thr tariff situation puts them in a weird spot currently.

You should be able to get Tina chips by posting a want ad on the Classifieds. They may not be your dream design, but finding a set available soon shouldn't be an issue.

You can definitely do the Outlaws for below that cost. Milanos are probably the closest thing to a clay feel and can be had for right around $200 for 500 chips. The Majestics will be a little above your price point but are nice.

At that level of stakes I would recommend something semi custom for game security. Desperate college students and all.

Would highly recommend the Tina group buys that Justin runs. Or, if you go the China Clay route, gets some custom labels to over label them with so no one can spoof them.
