Im interested in using this mold since my made up chip name is going to be "Bolsa Card Club". So, is anyone using this mold? I've seen samples of the mold and mock ups people have created on the design tool (Blades) but I'm looking for finished sets with inlays. (1 1/6?) If you have 'em or seen 'em, pics would be appreciated. Also any reviews of the mold would be great too. Thanks you all are a great resource.

I was going to but switch to HHR. It's a nice looking mold, just felt the HHR fit my theme better.

There is a set using the B-mold in the gallery.

One of my favorite sets, Bart's Bowl-O-Rama, used the B-mold. One of if not the first to do so. Original thread on CT here with a couple shots below that highlight the mold itself.

Very nice mold indeed. I handled some B mold sample chips during a visit to ASM. They're really nice chips, and perfect for a theme with a B in the title.

Damn, how could I forget those? Another great set. I think they came before Bart's Bowl-O-Rama, too.

nope after... I have a sample set of Beav's, but not Bart's. Bart's was a little before my time... unfortunate really, I am a bowler.

I've seen on the CPC site where they state that the mold can take a 1 1/16 inlay. Is this a mistake?

No mistake. Most of the molds can take any size. It's just a matter of which sizes look best on which molds. On the B-mold, the 1 1/16" will just bleed into and over the ring in the center of the chip.

I haven't seen any B-mold chips with 1-1/16 inlays. IIRC the examples above are 1"

Also @jbutler I believe @Racer96 was the first to have b-mold customs made.

The B Mold is great. FWIW, I think Tommy is making a huge mistake not using it. But c'est la vie.

If I were placing the order for Broken Bells, the B mold would "b" my choice too, no doubt.

It's a really great mold (HHR is too).

Would be a nice mold for Butler's Card Room too. ;)

best mold ever...if i ever get around to a custom set that is the mold, notice the old original with a thinner edge, they chipped too easy, jim b told me they went to the wider, an obvious choice, great mold

My Broken Bell set started out as Blue Chip. Then @BGinGA mentioned about doing a Blue Diamond theme. A Blue Diamond theme on the B-diamond mold would be cool. GB? lol

I actually have thought about using it because I have a B-word themed set in mind, but I'm still undecided. I love the feel of the MD-50 so much that it's hard to say no to that mold.

"Butler's Bitchin' Bettin' Bonanza"?

B-mold awfully damn close to the dia-sqr imo, in terms of construction features, sound, and feel. Given the recent quality (and subsequent cost) issues of the MD-50, I think B-mold is a fine alternative, especially if your theme fits.

Too pretty.

No complaints about this mold from me. I haven't got a ton of use out of my chips, but they feel and sound great. If I ever do another set, it will also be on the B-Diamond mold.

@chipjoker speaks the truth :-). David indicated the 'Blades' chips are in production as we speak. I am getting rather excited and love the reviews on how the mold handles. The MD-50 would have been my first choice if the 'B' mold had not been available.

I've never seen a live B mold chip before. Liking the pictures.
Initials are "B.B."..........hmmmmmmmm
