I dont know if this has been discussed before and maybe it's a stupid question. For those of you who own CPC compression molded chips, I'm curious how durable are they. Can you break them in your hands? And how hard are they? Do they bend when you apply force with fingers?

Thank you for you help.

They don't bend and you can break them, though you have to be intentional to do so.

These breaks were intentional, for science.

Maybe I’m just a weakling but I’ve tried to snap one in half and couldn’t. I mean I didn’t put my heart and soul into it but still. I’m sure it’s possible but you’d have to be on a mission.

I assumed that they would have color transfer, but members here quickly corrected me and said that CPC chips really don't have any color transfer issues. They definitely feel like they're harder than Paulson clay, so that might be why.

I also noticed that there's less dust and little flecks that come off of them during normal use compared to Paulson chips.

But they also have a very different sound and that is most likely due to their different composition.
