im working on colors and spots for an order ill be placing in the near future. these will additionally have a name a logo in black and denoms in red. would love to hear your honest opinions or what youd change. reds and oranges will never be in play at same time. i stole the color scheme on the whites from someone here, i forget who or where. but if its you, and you are not ok with it, i will change it. im also leaning towards 4 double spots on the reds.

I feel like there's a lot of yellow shades on various denoms. The $5, $100, and $1k in particular. Maybe change out the dayglo saturn yellow edge spot on the $100 for another color for added distinction and pop?

Have you ordered a color sample set and mold sample set to see/feel how they look in real life?

Also, I think you can mix up the edge spots for the $500/$1k chips (assumed denoms) make them different than the $100 chip. Either more or less complexity works, as long as it’s different. Some people like higher denoms = more complex, or other like a “Gaussian distribution” where the chips you use the most have the most complexity and the chips you use the least are more simple.

good point, thanks. ive changed it up and decided to drop the whites and reds. i never had intentions of using them, i just want them. maybe for an add on later.

thanks, ive reworked them with this in mind...somewhat. i didnt order sample....i like a nice gamble. :)
The orange and the red chips could get messy in a stack or a splashpot, I think.
agree. these 2 chips never would have been on the table at same time but i dropped the 5's anyway in favor of saving some money.

So I take it you're making a tourney set? One table only or do you sometimes run two or more tables? Have you considered ever needing a 5k chip?

yes, this would be a tourney set. lol, 2 tables? i have a tough enough time filling one...or at least near filling one. jokes aside, years ago i did have a couple times where i had 12 players and broke it up onto 2 tables. ive always started out with a stack of 25's, stack of 100's, and 2 500's. i have on hand 250 blacks, 250 greens, and 150 purples...so its always worked out and ive never come up short. not that i dont have interest in a 5000 just to have, its just not needed. just like the 1's and 5' arent needed. maybe in the future, who knows. i do plan on going to 1 stack of blacks, 1 stack of purples, and 2 1k's for this set most of the time.
