Crappy Chips, but wtf Trays (1 Viewer)

Weird. Could be an insert..... why would one intentionally make them that way otherwise?

All I can figure is is you had these in tight quarters, the extra space would give you room to get a finger in there and pull out a chip.

Here's the pic.

Pretty sure the bit you are saying is like a spacer is actually on the underneath of the plastic barrel as a support, if that makes sense.

Apologies if I've picked you up wrong.

@hod I think we're looking at the rack with the chips in it, not the empty one... there appears to be a lip molded in on the chip side of the barrels about a 1/4" from the edge.

Ahhhh. Did think that was odd. Be handy for some 19 to a rack beat up casino chips right enough.

take no notice...

What's weird is that spacer lip is only in the one rack... it doesn't appear to be in the the other rack shown.

I'm guessing the ten boxed racks are decent racks with thick walls like the generic ones Apache sells. The lipped rack appears to be cheaper/thinner.
I could use some decent racks with barrel length a bit bigger than Unique, so I took a chance and grabbed these. I will post pics of the oddball.

Cool man.

I wonder if the lipped rack is supposed to hold the dealer button, all in button, etc that came with the set. Or maybe this set came with the requisite dice plus special coins for some kind of coin flip game.
