Hi All,
new to the forum, been browsing for the last couple weeks..
going to get my first poker table from Chanman, just a basic to start, but custom cloth. Want to get the full blown custom, but i just cant swing 7k for everything right now.. lol

been playing with some ideas around the cloth, wanted to post and get people's opinions / votes.

also in the process of feeling up a bunch of sample chip sets and trying to decide what to get there.. and down the third rabbit hole of cards.. lol.. oh this world.

ignoring the horrible tiling in some of these pictures.. just a rough idea
these are some of my favorites right now.. i mocked up lots more, but not really sure any others really hit the spot.
i know the second one is really busy, so probably not. i like the space background, and could go with the card wars chips from BR Pro with that table.

thanks for the input everyone. This forum is a wealth of information, i've been drinking deep for the last couple weeks.

For me, it would be either 1 or 5. If you like the space theme, definitely #1, I really like that one. I don't like busyness on a table, so 2-4 would be out for me.

Of course go with what YOU like best.

Space theme is cool, but I'd personally keep it to the rail. I'd be worried about things being hard to see if the felt is too busy.

They're all nice, it just comes down to what you like and where you want to go with this. Most folks who get custom cloth get something that lines up with the theme of their chips or their game room decor. For example, #4 is perfect if you're into 17th century voyages of discovery, but will look weird if your game room is all decked out with LA Lakers memorabilia.

Agree with this. If you're looking to a "space" theme, I'd draw some inspiration from @AK Chip 's Aurora Club tables:

Maybe go with the more prominent graphics from #2 for the racetrack with the simpler dark playing area from #1? Purple and black make for a sharp color combo on a table, IMHO:

I also really like the parchment map look of #3.

I actually have that, just didn't snip the picture.. i like them both equally as much.. when i'm back home i'll ship a shot of that one as well. Room decor is relatively neutral, although i do have navy blue highlights in the room, so #1 would work with that as well.

I'm a fan of 1 myself. But just like my own cloth I would be worried about the other space one being too busy in the middle. I'm just not a fan of the map ones but hey man it's all personal preference. Get what does it for you
