Custom Table Toppers (1 Viewer)

I'm really excited to announce that I'll be producing a number of custom table toppers for PCF in 2022, in rectangle and oval patterns initially. The oval pattern will be the same dimensions (73.75" x 31.5" x 5mm thick with sewn edges) as the Super Poker World table topper group buy that I ran in 2021, so that they'll fit perfectly in Barrington/ESPN tables. For me, I've found it really fun to swap out the table topper depending on the chip set "theme" that I'm playing with on a given night, which is what really inspired me to make more of these for the community.

The rectangle mats will be (74" x 32" x 5mm with sewn edges). I hope to be able to entertain custom size orders in the future, but it'll be a learning curve to figure out the logistics behind that.

So far I have four distinct designs that I'm really excited about, including Super Poker World (mentioned above). I plan to share those and more in the coming weeks to get some initial community feedback, and tailor future designs around interest. I hope to be able to start taking orders sometime in May-June if all goes according to plans.

Looking forward to getting this project going, and hearing some feedback on initial designs from all of you in the near future!

Not currently.

Could potentially do something with a WSOP vibe / look and feel, but wouldn't be able to have the exact name be WSOP due to trademark (much like I couldn't name the Super Poker World mats Super Mario Poker or something). I don't know how many folks would be interested in something WSOP-like with a different name.

I love just about every movie except one by Guy Ritchie. The scene from Lock Stock and 2 smoking barrels where they are playing poker in the boxing ring, and the music and the camera movement / angles like being drunk, I always thought the symbolism of a boxing ring was soo good for a poker game.

Love the ideas. Thanks for sharing! I'll start a backlog and think about how we can keep the most sought after ones towards the top of the list (e.g. some upvoting or polling system)

Definitely had intended to do a Jacks themed one at some point.

I'm finalizing my fourth design this weekend and will then share the first four that I have to see what people think about them. Unfortunately these take a decent amount of time to design with my rudimentary (but quickly approaching mediocre!) design skillz.

update - I'd take 1 of the regular sizes above, as well as another one that's 90" x 35" if that's possible (give or take couple inches). I'd like to buy both the regular and custom size together, but we'll see how things go. Thank you!

I could go as big as 90” and at least 38”, if not several inches wider. Anything a size up from 70 x 35 in a rectangle is a win though. Poker tables are better as a racetrack, but I don’t know how many dining tables are out there are an oval shape. I guess it depends on how one will use the topper.

I think one design of interest is some type of bourbon theme. Many people are bourbon collectors and many have some type of bourbon/drinking themed chips. I would think a basic bourbon/drinking themed topper would be a hit.

How about considering a rectangular size 70L X 30W. That would fit the popular lifetime folding tables. Budget friendly.

I'll see what sizes I can offer at first. I think if I do offer custom sizes I'm going to likely have to post some interest threads first, so I can ensure I have somewhat accurate quantities in-demand at various sizes. Thanks for the additional feedback!

Right. If I were ever to buy a mat like this, to have as an extra table, it would be a generic, unthemed design.
I’m not sure if you’re looking to start a business or to fill a niche, or what. But this project is interesting to me because there aren’t any mats of this thickness available - if I go to Amazon looking for a generic mat, all I can find is 2 or 3 mm.

Would I be the only one who would be interested in a blackjack topper mat that would fit my folding Texas Hold 'Em table? I think it's 60"x35" on the felt. I'd love to have that and a matching Hold 'Em mat in an old school classic Vegas theme. The Rat Pack, jet age, nuclear bombshell babes, cars with fins, old Freemont and Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign. I love The King, but pre-Elvis era Vegas.
