Canceled CVB $2 Snapper (or other Horseshoe Quarter) (1 Viewer)

Edit: As recommended below, the $2 CVB chip seems to be exactly what I’m looking for. Do you have a rack? Pic barrowed from previous sale thread, since it seems to not be a very popular chip.

Alternatively, Anyone have a rack of relabels to get rid of? Casino used condition.

I’m also looking for a barrel of 25’s in case you have that too.

In lieu of an actual finished product, maybe you have a suitable chip for me that I can relable. I’m open to that too. Want it to be under $100 shipped. Let me know what ya have!


PS: I’m aware of the Lucky Derby 1’s over at the chip exchange, and the Garden City options... just casting a net to see if anything else is out there first.

I went with Lucky Derby $1s with Gear labels and I am quite happy with them. That said I've seen others I think are nicer. Depending on which chips you're using a pink snapper or a light to medium blue works really well. Good luck with your search.

I’m using the Cleveland 1’s and 5’s. I will likely end up the LD route... I prefer the snapper but my wallet doesn’t.

I’ve seen this done! It is perfect... though is the condition sharp and minty? It wouldn’t go well with my otherwise heavily used condition. I will def keep this on the back burner. Thanks!

Chips were originally $2 “Colorado Visitors Bureau” chips. One side is hotstamped “CVB”

I posted in another classified of @ThinkingFold in case he splits his 60 25’s. Thanks for the tip though! I more so meant to combine the barrel with a rack of something... 2 for 1 shipping style.

A quick note about the CVB labels. These labels have two different pinks on them. I asked Gear to try this to mimic the faux shaped inlay of the Horseshoe tri-moon snapper. So, on the label there is actually an outer ring in a lighter pink color, which matches the clay, and an inner ring in a darker pink. Personally I'm happy with the results. When we tried the label with all one pink, it just looked weird to me. Thanks @Gear !

On another note, I was looking at the Huntington Park 50¢ chip yesterday, and I think it would also make a cool Horseshoe quarter. They are out there in quantity, as well... Just not entirely sure they have enough recess to take a label..

I’m guessing more dough than I want to drop... at least yet.

That $60 deal you got on those CVB’s is likely once in a lifetime anyways
