Hey guys!

I’ve got one rack of Desert Sands Cabazon $3s today for sale. It’s part of my Desert Samds set, but I’m more so focused on getting the TRKs and I’d like to see if someone could potentially use this in their set!

Asking $400 $350 shipped!

These are practically brand new, non-leaded H&C chips. All with very sharp stamps front and back.

I can get more pictures if needed, these chips are just at my parents house so I’d have to go there and get them for you guys!

If you have any questions let me know!

PayPal F&F preferred but we can also use other forms of payment too!

Non-leaded chips from a place that closed in 1972? Really?
Yeah, from what I remember they aren’t heavy at all. It’s a shame but can’t do much, otherwise they’d be bricks

Ah, I see. IMO, going by weight alone is not sufficient to determine leaded-ness, but YMMV. I mean, you've handled those chips and I haven't, so take that for what it's worth! :)

I can get a picture tonight with some weights to help determine it. I know you’ve handled plenty of chips too, but hey I might be wrong from memory!

Same thing is weird with the TRKs, the $1s are heavy bricks, the $5s are light so idk what was happening with chip orders back then

Any idea if Christy & Jones put slugs in hotstamps? I think you said most, if not all inlay C&J had a metal slug in the middle.

Not sure of the determining factors (casino request etc.) but TRK made weighted and unweighted chips.

But how is the sound? Shouldn't it be easy to say if there leaded or not by the sound compared to new paulsons :)

If I remember correctly, most if not all, inlay CJ chips did have the metal/lead slug in the middle.

As for the TRKs, I know that they had the option of choosing leaded or not. That's clear to see on the order cards.
