So I would like to share some of the design work that I have been doing in regards to the blackjack index and Desjgns moving forward. Some may recall a few years ago when I did the Classic Diamond bridge sets that I wasn't able to solve a problem when looking at an index to bridge between regular and jumbo. The problem revolved around having the jumbo size faces and wanting the faces to be those from the regular faces. It wasn't a problem for poker size blackjack index, but I didn't want the faces (especially the court cards) feeling too squished in such a space.
Well, with more blackjack index needed, I spent the summer and fall trying to tackle that issue and ended up finessing and elevating the artwork along the way as well doing a different layout for jumbo (larger faces with the larger index). I am quite pleased with the result. Here is bridge size index comparison:
