well, ok, we won't be vs'ing each other. I'm hosting a cash game tomorrow night. I've got a full table. Who knows if we will get mixed in big pots or not (after playing in the PCF tourney with him I don't know if I want to or not).

I'm a small pot poker kind of player. Take it easy on me big fella

we play HOPE r x r. Every 30 minutes we play 1 hand double board of whatever game were playing (minus PLO8). Each board in the double board hand produces a winner.

A few weeks ago I was introduced to Ludicrous Pineapple (by mike32). You get four cards dealt to you. You discard one after the flop and another after the turn

Mostly...........I did stop inviting one player a couple of years ago. Just didn't have fun playing cards with him. The only other guys removed from the invite list were guys that repeatedly "no showed"......

I have never played much circus games... I play almost strictly NLHE and PLO, with some 2-7 single draw here and there... And even those, I play in single sessions, so no mixed games really... You guys are going to bust me for sure... That's your wheelhouse!

not at all. Crazy Pineapple is an improved NLHE. Shit, we wouldn't even have NLHE in the mix if it wasn't for John and Marc. Trust me, you want both at the game, so we deal with it. Both will be there tomorrow night. Marc has gotten better. Remember the name John, and play as much PLO or PLO8 as you can with him, lol. Great guy though, one of my favorites.

We have all types playing in our game from Accountants to Police to an FBI dude (but not so much lately, damn did he suck at poker, loved top pair, lol) to public safety (me). Its a wide range of careers. All good guys though.

We have cash games here and there as well, and after the tourneys, NLHE and NLO... I'll definitely keep you posted man, and you just let me know if you'll be this side of the OC and we try to get something going...

Those PCR are indeed great... I know some people don't quite like the suits mold but I LOVE it... And they looked incredible... They felt brand new to me...

I have been reading threads about the games you guys have at Bergs for a while now Guiness. You boys play at an insane level. I have much respect but it is certainly out of my league. Just curious, what is a typical good night/bad night in one of these events?

Best worst is 6K. I've been the recipient of both. Normal big winner is about 2500. Loans available everywhere. I hosted weekly for 15 years but thank christ Berg moved somewhat local to me. He's the hostest with the mostest. He paid for our food ($300 BBQ), always has a fresh barrel of IPA on tap and always has a couch to crash on. We are very lucky to have him.

Round two was minus Mike32. This time Chaosrock had home field advantage (thanks for the invite). We played NLHE, .25/.50, 80 dollar buy in. We started about 730. I played until midnight before leaving. I had one buy in. Cashed out at 200. First time I have played with a new group in a quite some time. It was a nice challenge. Forced me to pay a little more attention that what I have been at my most recent games.

It was a solid group of players. I will definitely make a return trip out there. If they would only add in another game or two.........NLHE is so "meh".

First time I have played with Aztecs. Very nice chips Sir.

I believe Chaos took this round btw. Granted he had more time on the felt than I did. I will use that as my excuse I don't think you and I got mixed up in any big hands this time. Roney? I took a couple of nice pots from him when we split tables. He kind of drives the action. Something every game needs

Here's some pre game pics. Getting the set and stacks ready. We never got the $25 in play as we only had short of $3K on the table/s. The game played a little smaller than usual but it was a fun night anyways... Ended up playing heads-up with Roney until 5am...
