If they're talking about you I'm surprised. I could clearly see the joke in it as you were both trying to get Tommy onto it.

You see... Jimmy posted a thread... and there was like these little round clay thingies on there... And like people were like, interested.. (pauses to blow a bubblegum bubble, wrap it around my finger, then reinsert into my mouth)... Then one dude like totally made a post that said "Dibs", and then other people were like "whoa", you can't call dibs! Then someone posted another thread that said "Dibs?", and all the cool kids (like us) started making these totally funny (srsly funny) posts saying totally retro stuff like when we were totally younger... Then the "Dibs" guy was like "whoa!", I was TOTALLY kidding...

That about sums it up.
 
Summary. Blue Chips .25c were posted in classifieds. I commented first to basically call the Bat Symbol and bring Tommy from the darkness into the light. Letting him know the chips he had been looking for were available. The Penguin PM'd the seller to make an offer ( I think on Tommys behalf) then posted in the thread saying PM/offer incoming.

Exchange was made and Tommy rose from the Darkness.

I made (what I thought to be) a clear joke, saying I called dibs ;)

The joker posted a thread asking WTF is going on where dibs are being used on the site, it was thought I was drinking because I made a sarcastic remark. Mean girls ensued, and here we are.

I was serious about making a bid on those, then I thought to myself "that is the owner of this site!". I actually took the dibs thing seriously because I am somewhat naive and did not bid.

I also believe there was at least a shred of truth to the "joke". No I am not mad at all, just throwing my experience out there.
 
If I get any say in the matter, I'd much prefer to be referred to as the Riddler vs the Penguin.
