Not Mine Dice Chips at $0.19/Chip (1 Viewer)

Yeah we all snicker. But I've said it before and I'll say it again. Most of the people I've encountered will play with anything so long as there's cards and cold beer on the table. Don't misunderstand they love it when I host and bust out real chips but a couple minutes in and it's all about the cards. Which explains why I've started to become a bit of a card snob too... In all seriousness there wouldn't be a single complaint if they came over and I said sorry guys, I sold all the decent chips to buy my wife a day at the spa so we'll have to go back to these dice chips we started with. Someone might ask if I at least got something for my trouble. Maybe.

I hear what you're saying, and you're right, but I get the hint that this person knows they got taken and they're trying to salvage some value. They're not "high end" simply because one paid Brookstone $250 for them, but damnit, they're gonna try.

lol glad I only paid £20 including delivery for mine back in the day!

I love dice chips, expecially when they are sold in a 1000 piece case for $10 or a birdcage for $20. Buy the set, trash/donate the chips, keep the cases/carriers. (y)

They do make good toys for kids though. My four year old has a barrel each of yellow, pink, and purple. They get used for all sorts of things. Playing store, counting games. Hell the yellows have stood in for scrambled eggs before. For Christmas she really wants some green ones. Maybe she'll get a whole rack. ;)

It is funny watching her try to incorporate stacks of chips into Old Maid and Go Fish. Oh yes, and they're large enough to not be a choking hazard for her younger sister, unlike regular coins.

Yesterday I was relieved of my 900 dice chips. It really does feel like getting rid of the abusive girl; I kind of miss the abuse. Their dust spot is still on the shelf.

I sold a friend of mine a set of a 1000 Majestics. For the most part good remarks but then one guy said are these plastics?? Meaning they are real light. Well, the guys are use to playing with heavy slugs. Is the weight an issue with China Clays or just get over the issue of having heavy chips as the norm??

come on, figure $15 for the case, and it's only $60 for the chips, and they're official size, weight, and made of clay!

That's only overpriced by about 100% not as bad as it first looks.

I recently dug out some dice chips, so i could see how many fit in a case, for a review I was writing.
I was surprised by how heavy a handful of dice chips felt.

Yes, I have a big set of river poker tours and they weigh a ton.

"These chips are 39 mm diameter casino sized chips and are 11.5 grams in weight. They are produced from a composite resin and an insert that gives them the weight and feel of a heavy casino quality chip. The detail on these chips is great. The dice and stripes around the chips as well as the detail on the edges of the chips add to the great appearance."

"I have 25 roles of 50 chips -- I'm selling at $10 per role. . . Cash Only! Price is Firm - NO SHIPPING"

well, that's 20c/chip. but the dice and stripes around the chips as well as the detail on the edges add to the great appearance, so it's like you're getting the dice and stripes at a discount!

Hey, it's the most fair description of dice chips I've seen in a while
