Got old crappy dice chips that you hate and don't know what to do with? I'm here with a solution so that you feel good about helping out others while cleaning out your useless crap. Let's face it, you're on PCF and don't want to ever think about dice chips again!

As some of you know I'm a 3rd grade teacher for a bunch of underprivileged kids that live at a residential school. These students like/need to use a lot of manipulatives to stay engaged in lessons and unfortunately I don't have a lot in my classroom (private school budgets are small...). One thing that I really could use that I know this forum can help out with is some counters/tokens to use for math. Poker chips make for great tokens as they are large enough for kids with motor skill issues to grab a hold of and they are easy to sort, count, and stack for kids. I'm looking for a total of ~500 dice chips (~200 white, ~100 x 3 of different colors, no color preference) to use within my classroom. Just wondering if there is someone who has some stashed away that wouldn't mind donating them for use in the classroom. I'll pay for your shipping cost on the chips so you're not out of pocket for anything.

Tommy: If this is in the wrong spot, or not OK, then just move/delete it.

I have around 500 or so, I would have to go check to see the exact amount, but you can have them all. PM me and we can get it all figured out.

Many more than what you're looking for. I have both cash and tournament chips, so lots of different colors. No labels. I know where around 400 are. The rest are in a small box in my basement. I should be able to find them by Saturday (knock wood).

I have a bunch (500? 600? 700?) of the "diamond" plastic chips (no stamps) that all but 50 are still in the packaging from 10 years ago. They are light and crappy but would send them if you want. PM me an address if interested.

Wow! Thanks for all the fast offers. I knew this community would come through. Easy choice here is to take Abby up on her offer as I see her every week and won't have to pay for shopping.

Fantastic! Was hoping to give them away at some point. At least they'll be put to good use instead of taking up space in a landfill. :)
