Hi. I'm considering white chips for a tourney, but do these discolour and turn yellow over time? I'd be looking at "consumer level" chips so China clays, ceramics, and not Paulson's or TRK or CPC.

Anyone have any experience of this?

The only "yellowing" I've seen has been from dirt. If you have a lot of heavy smokers this can be a minor concern, but it does clean off.

Ah ok. I had some jack Daniels poker chips given to me as a birthday present once (we're no longer friends). They're basically just Dice chips and they're yellowing, but haven't been subjected to smoking etc, so I was wondering if other chips also get this.

PS they've been locked away in a drawer, don't worry they will never be used.

Certain types of plastics (including chips) can yellow over time, especially if exposed to sunlight/UV rays. Proper storage will help reduce the chances of any noticeable changes.
