DIY Shuffle Tech ST-1000 cart ideas (1 Viewer)

I use this from IKEA with a slight bit of modification. I cut down the sides so with the shuffler in the top tray still fits under my table and I didn't install the middle bin. In the bottom, I keep Q-tips and rubbing alcohol for cleaning the rollers. We wheel it around to whoever wants to work the shuffler and it functions great. $30

This really quieted it down for me...
Used foam packaging and a wooden wine box...
Didn't cost me anything. Had everything around the house. (Drilled a hole in the back for the cord)

im probably going to use this idea, can you post a picture of how it looks? I dont really understand what you mean by you cut down the sides

IMO, most of the loudness is from the door itself. I lined the inside with felt and it has helped reduce sound the most - more so than the cabinet it sits in (which also has foam sound proofing).

thanks for this, after scrolling through the forum looking at ideas this is the first time someone has done this, i was thinking of covering the underside instead but didnt like the idea as it would cover the clear door. gonna try to buy some thin dynamat on amazon to do it. now i just need chip to respond to me and tell me when my refurbished unit is on the way…

thanks for the quick response, i think im gonna try dampening the sound somehow but unsure as of right now. how loud does it operate while you have it in the cart?
It's as loud as normal but that doesn't bother me or my group. Being lower than the playing surface helps, but it gets drowned out while we are playing.
