Good ole Gananoque, "The Gateway to the Thousand Islands"... Grew up just west of there in Kingston. The casino drove me crazy as they would seemingly offer craps at random. Have not been in years, lots and lots of years...
Also, what the hell brings you to Gananoque?!?!?!

You could call the casino I do not know for sure. Many of the smaller Ontario Casino's do not have poker rooms....sometimes they have limit games but more often than not it is just the large casino's with card rooms in Ontaro.
Random craps at casinos would put me off, too. You gotta know when to hold 'em, or fold to the inevitable flush.

My wife’s family has rented a small cabin for a week+ on the same small fishing lake every summer since the 60s.
Very cool... there are LOTS of lakes in the region! Sounds amazing!
Based on the website I would say "no" to a poker room. I called guest services... nobody picked up.
If you really have the itch, Casino Lac Leamy is about 1.5 to 2 hrs away from Gananoque. It's in Quebec just on the other side of the river from Ottawa. Pretty sure they have a poker room but have never played there.

Noted. Not likely I’d go that far, but good to know if we ever decided to go to Quebec (which we’ve talked about but never done).
