Hey guys, picked up a cheap lot of 250 Paulson roulettes for a custom relabel, and the seller threw in a few 4-5pc sets of different color starbursts. I noticed three of the chips have what look like a double hot stamp, Starbursts over "Stardust Roulette F". I'd never seen this before and didn't know if it was unique or if anybody knew anything about these.

Correct, the 'starburst' stamp is/was commonly used by the manufacturer to cancel casino chips.

That makes sense, thanks guys!

The other thing I've noticed is that some of the roulette chips run a little heavier than most paulsons. Most of them run 10.5-11.5g vs the 9-10g of the paulsons I'm used to, and my used garden city RHCs are even 8-8.5g due to wear maybe? Is this common with roulettes?

Not unique to roulettes. These chips are just old, and older chips are generally heavier because the older chip formula contains traces of lead for weight.

Note to self, don't lick fingers after shuffling then haha. Thanks for the info!
