Wow. Amazing set. He actually has a few additional smaller sets available as well.

Wondering what the final price will go for.

$3000 for 300 chips (100x$5, 100x$25, 100x$100) is certainly no bargain, mint or not. Even the $10K set (1,050 chips) only contains 25x$500 and 25x$1000.

Looks like he has them valued at 1=$5, 5=$5, 25=$10, 100=$15, 500=$20, 1000=$30.
 
Pricing certainly seems optimistic. Just going off Mikko's per chip pricing. 5=$5, 25=$6, 100-$10. That would be $2100 for the 300 chip set.

For the bigger set, add in 500-$20 and $1000-$65 and you get $7375. Not counting the Bellagios.

My understanding is Mikko has plenty of all the denominations except the $1000's.

I will note my one major nit with this listing is the lack of disclaimer between the pic and what's being offered. I'm fine with using the same pics for all 3 listings as long as there is something saying not everything being shown is included. Even the $10,000 listing doesn't include everything on the table. There's a full rack of the $500's and the $1000's but only 25 of each are for sale.
 
I emailed Bergs about this listing, not sure if hes looking to add to his set. We played with his set at BBotB this past year and oh my was it marvelous.
 
I've bought and sold dunes sets before and agree that this is an outrageous price. This might be a "make me an offer under the table" kind of listing, without explicitly saying so.
 
And to point out that the 500's are not mint, very clearly used. 1000's look better, but I hate it when seller claims mint. Also I wouldn't use those bellagio dollers with the Dunes 5's. Do I recall correctly that there is a lot of color transfer with that blue ?? Overpriced for sure.
 
Nice pr0n, but yeah, I'd rather have an RV than 2000 chips. $10/chip avg seems high to the unwashed masses I represent.

Yes to the color transfer with late 90s Bellagio chips.

The price is high, but I've never seen $1k 39mm chips available in that kind of volume before. I have 80 of them and thought there were maybe another 120 our there total. I know some CT and PCFers have some so for him to have over 25 of them and not be known to the community or a direct employee of Spinetti's is indeed unusual.

The photo shows a rack of $1k, but the $10,000 set only includes 25 of them. Still an excellent haul, but photo is more of a teaser.

I contacted him via eBay. This has to be the worlds largest set of Dunes chips. Those pics on eBay are amazing. I'm sitting here in shock that someone would build that set and not be a chipper.

I think the price is too high ... for the same amount of money CPC can do for you absolutely crazy chips... and the chip looks like there would be a work of art ... such as this ..
 
He hasn't written me back yet. I bet he's selling those separately for a premium.

9K is unconscionably high for this set. You can order them en masse from Spinetti's for cheaper than their list price. Without the 1K chips it's worth less than half of what he's asking for.
