This is the last thread I will ever post regarding selling the Dunes Paulson high denomination tourney set that I have. If these don't sell, I'm keeping them forever.
I will split up the sale - it's obvious to me after the raffle and previous for-sale thread that splitting will be a necessity if I'm to sell this set (which makes sense in retrospect, given the cost).
This sale is for the Dunes Paulson high denomination set. All chips stand on edge and are in excellent condition (they've been played with less than 10 times).
BREAKDOWN
$25 39mm (260)
$100 39mm (230)
$500 39mm (125) - increasingly rare chip
$1000 39mm (80) - extremely rare chip; unprecedented in this quantity
$5000 43mm (55)
PRICES
$25s - $3.75 per chip (market price is $6.00 per chip)
$100s - $6.75 per chip (market price is $10.00 per chip)
$500s - $16.00 per chip (market price is $20.00 per chip - and these are increasingly rare)
$1000s (39mm) - $60.00 per chip (market price is $65.00 per chip and it's impossible to find in any real quantity)
$5000s (43mm) - $25.00 per chip (market price is $30.00 per chip)
SALE RULES
- All of the chips must be spoken for in order for the sale to get executed
- CONUS addresses only
- Payment via PayPal as Friends & Family
- All shipments are via USPS, UPS, or FEDEX. Signature will be required. Buyer pays actual shipping cost plus insurance.
- I'd prefer that all offers and questions were here in the thread, but if you want to PM me to discuss something privately, that's OK too.
- I reserve the right to choose buyers based on their ability to buy significant portions of the set - this is not necessarily a first-in-gets-it type sale (but I will take that into strong consideration and will try to broker deals that work for everyone, with the priority being that the entire set is spoken for so the sale can actually take place)
I'll be sad to see this set leave in pieces, but I take solace in the fact that several people will probably be able to complete or start some pretty kick-ass Dunes Paulson sets. These will always be my favorite chips, but it's time to get them into the hands of someone that will spread them more than once per year.
