A rather large home project, and the fact that I host a tournament once per year, has forced me to put my Dunes Paulson high denomination tourney set up for sale. This is a one of a kind set - it features the 39mm $1000 chips that you cannot get anywhere else on the planet at this quantity.
I am willing (reluctantly) to break up the set (if all chips are spoken for) but I've priced it well below market price in an effort to keep this set together. I'm hoping this goes to someone that appreciates the Dunes Paulson chips and puts these to good use either as a collectible or in the occasional tournament.
All of the chips are near-uncirculated. They were bought uncirculated and were used less than 10 times over the last 7-8 years.
Here's the breakdown - note that all chips are 39mm except the $5000 baccarat chips which are 43mm.
$25 (260) - market price is $6.00 per, my price is $4.50 per
$100 (230) - market price is $10.00 per, my price is $8.00 per
$500 (125) - market price is $20.00 per, my price is $16.00 per (getting increasingly rare and almost impossible to find in volume)
$1000 (80) - market price is $65.00 per, my price is $60.00 per (Nobody in the world has this quantity of 39mm $1K Dunes Paulsons)
$5000 43mm (55) - market price is $30.00 per, my price is $25.00 per
Total market value of the set is $13,210.
If there is one buyer, they'll get the set for $11,000 (a $2,210 discount versus market price)
I am selling and shipping ONLY to CONUS. Buyer pays all actual shipping and PayPal costs (no friends & family) and chips will be shipped with signature required and with insurance in the amount paid for the chips. I reserve the right to refuse to sell to individuals for any reason (including but not limited to not being a frequent PCF poster).
I understand that this is a rather large financial commitment for a potential buyer. I really want these chips to stay within the chipping community and will not be selling these on E-Bay. If I'm unable to sell all of the chips here via this sale, I may setup a raffle.
