Selling my set of 2,000 Custom Labeled China Clays on the Tower & Spear Mold. Chips feature a color-matched label displaying The Pink Chip Game $2. These chips were from the Championship Poker Series (CPS) line.

Purchased direct from Palm Gaming International (PGI) and unfortunately only put into play once. Great for fixed-limit mixed cash games, chips are MINT! Will ship in USPS Medium Flat Rate Boxes (probably 3-4 needed). Only shipping in USA, sorry international buyers.

Trying to pay down debts so I can then start funneling income into customs from CPC.

Those are not Championship Poker Series chips; they are custom-labeled T&S china clay chips. GLWS.

Actually, I can say for sure, as I am familiar with the background on these particular chips.

I meant they are from the line used for CPS. i thought that mold was created for CPS or is that incorrect?

The Tower & Spear mold pattern was originally designed to be used with BLGOP-labeled chips. Minor changes were made to the design prior to actual production. Chips were produced on the revised T&S mold for both the CPS-labeled group buy and as blanks which can be used as-is or with custom labels.

My point is that T&S blanks are not CPS chips. The only thing that makes a T&S blank a CPS chip is if it is affixed with a CPS label.

In any case, I like your custom pink game chips, although a bit surprised you are selling them already. Again, GLWS.

Is there really a difference between the blanks? If I peeled off the pink chip game label and replaced them with factory supplied CPS labels, would they become CPS chips?

If These chips initially had CPS labels and pgi removed them to add custom labels, then Anthony would be correct. That's what I meant about not knowing for sure

The tower and spear mold was created for the CPS chips, (I think with design work by ttttuby), but only the stock labeled chips with the CPS labels designed by ttttuby are properly "CPS chips". These are custom labeled tower and spear China clays

If you really believe that PGI would remove 4000 CPS labels and then reapply 4000 custom labels to make a sale (or for any reason, really), then I would suggest that you change your username to inssane154. :)

By these definitions, there is no such thing as CPS chips, only CPS labels on tower and spear China clays.

With only one option in the market for custom clays I don't want to miss out. figured it made more sense to sell off chips I'm not using to pay down some debts and reduce interest I'm paying so I can then turn around and save up for the customs that much sooner. I think I like my Classic Movie Monsters concept more than the Poseidon's Palace one, and at $2/chip roughly I will have a hefty (for me) price tag to make them a reality.

Also, I have adjusted my OP here, although I am unable to adjust my text on the eBay listing now, those options are grayed out. But as Ronoh said, hopefully everyone knows what I meant. :)

Yeah, sorry to derail your thread. I was legitimately thrown off by BGinga's initial comment, and for a minute I thought they were actually different chips. Like it or not, these chips are going to be referred to as CPS chips regardless of whatever label is on them...Hell, I think PGI even invoiced me for CPS blanks. Its not a bad thing.

Good luck with the sale and looking forward to seeing how the monster set comes out.

Pretty much this. I think CPS chips/blanks/mold will become the norm over T&S mold.

Picked up the flat rate boxes today on lunch break from work, now just gotta get some padding so I can pack these babies this weekend. It'll be bittersweet sending them off to their forever home, but I'm happy I was able to raise them into young, respectable chips.

Only three days left to bid, current high bid is $51. Auction ends this Monday evening. I'll be packing up the chips in flat rate boxes this weekend, happy bidding!

Under 4 hours left, someone is going to win 2,000 MINT china clays for 51 bucks as it stands........I'll take the hit if it happens, but hopefully we'll see some bidding action on these. Great for mixed games and only used once.

Settling for anything less than 15c each ($300 total for 2000 chips) would be almost criminal (and a steal for the buyer).

Two things to consider:

- Many chip auctions don't see serious bidding action until the last 5-10 seconds, as sniping is a popular (and +EV) pastime. Probably -EV for seller sanity, though.
- Breaking the set into four smaller sets of 500 chips each may drive more interest and subsequently higher selling prices.

Dropping $100-$150 on chips hits a lot different (and larger) group of buyers than does expecting buyers to lay out $400-$600 for a bunch of chips.

Also shipping could be a turnoff. Craigslist might have had more room for profit

Well I've had my share of run-good in this community (one member gave me a $500 portable a\c FREE)

Plus I've won a number of giveaways from members. So if one of you gets a steal on these chips at least I'll know they found a good home
