Not Mine Ebay: 299 HS diamond mold BIN $50 (1 Viewer)

Nice.
He says 25 chips weigh just under 9 ounces, which would put them probably just over 10 grams each - I bet they're clay.
And that ooks like a pretty good carousel.
Seems like a steal for $78 shipped. I just can't think of what I'd do with 50 each of 60 different color chips.

Theyre not standard colors like the injection molded counterparts and i cant see an injection dimple in the pics

I immediately thought SDs when I saw them, but you're right, I don't see any dimples. Why would someone stamp all of them at $100? You can stamp SDs, so it wouldn't surprise me if they were. That close up picture is not exactly crisp.

Yeah that's what I was wondering too. Why would anyone stamp the same denomination on all the chips?

I am thinking clay. I had a set of Paulson diamond molds a few years ago and they are wonderful chips. I'm not gonna buy these because I don't know what the heck I would do with them, but to my eye they look legit.

Josey let me at least get it into my house before I think about it!

Check some of the threads here. If you've opened the shipment, I'm already too late!!! Kidding of course. That's fine. I learned long ago, there's no urgency with this stuff.

Mint diamond mold. Clay. Jack Todd.
First carousel for me. Also mint.

Was fun to open...
Nice score! And it turns out it was a good call on clay chips by others here, although one can never be completely sure by photos alone. I wouldn't have risked buying them. Any plans for them -- mill & label candidates?

Should have been stamped with WTF - why are all of them hundos
Maybe these were a salesman's sample set or display set, where they wanted to show what a hotstamp looked like on different color chips, but never intended it to be a usable/playable set, and they saved time & money by just using the same hotstamp. Or some marketing guy thinks 'lets stamp them all with $100.00 so it makes people think high end'

Have about 1200 of the diamond mold now--all hotstamped and nearly mint or better---I'm planning on milling and labeling for a tournament set--which will be housed in a antique Jack Todd case that I'm in the middle of refurbishing.
My Jack Todd tribute set--such fun.

Love it. Can't wait to see the set when complete.

And here I thought you just wanted six versions of the hundo chip for super extra security.
