Your bid has been canceled.

Hi Kenneth,
The bid that you entered for the item (304465367687) has been canceled. You can view the reason provided for the cancellation by selecting the (bid history) link from the individual item page.

Please be cautious if you are contacted about purchasing this item after the bid has been canceled and as always avoid paying for your eBay item using instant wire transfer services through Western Union or MoneyGram as these payment methods are unsafe when paying someone you do not know.

Yeah...that crap pisses me off!! Had that happen a few years ago on a large set. I messaged the seller, through other sales he had ongoing, and he was direct. "Sorry, I received an offer of $X and decided to take it." I let him know that he was an idiot because my max bid would have been significantly higher. No real recourse, but I felt better for saying it.

Sorry that happened to you!!

Yup, had that happen a few times, it's infuriating and there's no recourse. I usually assume somebody else has made an offer/private deal.

Were they THCs?

I'm thinking the same thing as you and @Seeking Alpha Social Club

It isn't the first time, probably won't be the last and I'm not over-the-top pissed. Somewhere in-the-middle pissed. Just needed to vent and get that early morning virtual hug.

Thanks guys!

That happened to me recently and I had to laugh. I tend to put in a min bid early, just so I don't forget about something. Then I'll come back and drop the hammer in the final seconds. Of course, I have no idea how much the seller got for the item, but the seller had no idea how much I was willing to pay, so, oh well. I guess the only lesson is that if it's something you absolutely need, that you can't live without, then contact the seller early, and tell them you're willing to be fleeced?

Isn't that still considered a premium for Hub mold solids?

I think so, but I would have bid against the bidder regardless.

I'm willing to pay whatever you bid +$2.50 to lock something up if I really want it, and these were going to fit in nicely with my MD-50 hot stamps (I've pretty much given up hope finding any more of the Corner Club quarters).
