Picked these up today. Any ideas on what kind or who made the chips?

Search them on this site. The east coast crew bought these when the casino went under last year. Seller is a pcf member, can't recall who.

Yeah, you bought those from a PCFer. We need a secret eBay code that means "pm me on pcf"
I'm not joking. I bought a single with nut it now this week, then went and looked and the seller's other chips for sale, and immediately recognized them as rainmaintrail's.
No need for us to be throwing away eBay and papal fees.

I think this is a good idea, because it's pretty vague language that shouldn't raise any red flags. Even then, I recommend being careful with that stuff...

I had a bunch of Good Luck Club chips listed for sale a week or two ago. I got a ton of messages from people inquiring to see if more chips/denoms were available. I had to get all creative with sending them my email address to sell more chips "offline." Long story short, I was able to get my email address through (using dodgy stuff like 'at the gee mai| dot calm') and unload all of my chips, but even with my craftily worded messages, I still got this nasty email from eBay two days later...

I'm sure it didn't help that I cancelled my auction after the flurry of private messages either, which probably only drew more attention to my account, but I thought I should share this experience. The last thing anyone wants is a banned account with 13+ years of positive feedback. :/

What if you were to have a die or pair of dice sitting to the side of one of the pictures in your ad? Should work with out raising any flags.

Or PCF dealer button? I think your idea is brilliant. We just need to make it universally known/accepted.

Or we can start a PCF/eBay Username thread. Much like the First name or face to a name thread. I am sure many of us would not mind showing who we are on eBay.

I will start a thread ( maybe we can get it pinned) and see where it goes. If the mods think it is not good they can remove it

I tried not to throw those fees away but I didn't have too many bites when I posted them. Decided not to keep them and rolled the dice with the eBay route.

I am glad they went to a PCFer though.

Sold some off eBay to a guy a couple of towns over. Told him to check out this site if he wanted to upgrade his chips at some point.

Almost guaranteed they are not Chipco blanks. Squarish-edge, wear pattern and no outer white raised ring would lead me to believe that they are blanks produced by either ABC or Nevada Jacks.

The wear ring is a dead giveaway. Pretty sure ChipCo was the only one to use concave blanks

Dice is a great idea. Maybe set to a certain number configuration.

PCF dealer button might be a bit too overt. Dice gives you plausible denial.

P = 16th letter of the alphabet
C = 3rd letter of the alphabet
F = 6th letter of the alphabet

Four dice set to 1,6 and 3 and 6

Or cards?

Is it not so simple to state "Shaggy on PCF" in the listing description
Not to keep making things complicated but if a bunch of sales keep getting pulled from eBay that have PCF on them it might look suspect.

I think the list David O is working is the way to go.

That was my thought... If a bunch of listings with a PCF dealer button in it gets removed, eBay may get wise to it (not to mention explicitly pointing eBay where to look to see if something is funny). But if posts PCF'ers used dice or cards, the pattern may be harder for eBay to pick up.
