For Sale Empress Joliet Cash Set (Primaries) (1 Viewer)

I haven't played poker in years and don't regularly host games anymore. I've collected these Empress Joliet's over the course of the last 10+ years, and I absolutely love them being a Chicago guy. However, it's time to sell half the set.

For sale is a set of the following Empress Joliet's (all primaries):

200x 1s
400x 5s
100x 25s
40x 100s
20x roulettes (all stamped C)

$5000 shipped (insurance additional)

Some more details:

The 100s are in excellent, near-mint condition, and stack visibly higher than the worn chips.

In 2018 I personally ultrasonic cleaned and oiled 6 or 7 racks of 5s and 1 rack of 25s. There are some dirty ones still in the mix (I own 10 racks of red and 3 racks of green in total), but the large amount of these are already going to be cleaned.

I bought most of the 1s and all the roulette chips off of @Schmendr1ck years ago.

I don't know how to identify the different greens in the 25s, I certainly have a mix of both shades and am happy to dig into that further if required. Most of the ones pictured appear to be the darker green, but again I don't know how to verify.

A quick comment on this. The 100s are nowhere near “excellent/near mint” condition. They are “good/very good” at best. Edges are not sharp, nicks and fleabites are visible, blacks are faded from cleaning. They may not be casino worn like the rest of the lot, but that doesn’t make them near mint.

Love these chips. Empress was my first casino cash set, and even today years later I have mixed feelings about selling them. The $1 is one of my favorites of all time.
