Still haven't had a chance to get any pics on felt, but decided to get a new group shot now that I've added the snappers, chipcos, plaques, dealer button and a barrel of $1k's.

Ya know... I was pretty darn happy with my set of 500 until coming to this darn forum...

Yeah, Jim had them made back in 2011. There’s $5k plaques out there, still trying to shake any of those free.

I want to add a rack of 100's and then ideally I'd add one more rack of snappers, maybe another rack of 1's and a few more at the high end. $5k plaques are what I'd really like, but willing to settle for a relabel until I can find them.

Trying to make a nice diverse set that can host a small tourney, as well as a cash game. Snappers as quarters, along with the 1's and 5's for the cash game, and the rest for the tourney. In the past I've used 5's for tourneys, so if I need to, I can always use the Chipco's as 5's in the cash game.

You are off to a very good start there. I used mine solely to sim a Blackjack game so I am fortunate not to be overly worried about the poker requirements of denominating quantities in specific racks and proportions as long as I have the enough required to make change. I managed to grab what I can off Jim but quite often with the feeding frenzy at the Chiproom, you'd end up with odd numbered quantities (from a poker's perspective) after everyone else has savaged the stocks. I took a long hiatus from chipping after that sale (was it 2011 ??) and now back with PCF to toy with adding on to the Empress set (just for fun) and to get some examples which I don't have (just the elusive Secondary Snapper outstanding). Well, by the time I get back home in a few weeks, I should be sending that little package that helps with your quest in whatever small way possible. Good luck with your chipping. Empress Joliet chips really are the nuts. BUt I'm biased.

LoL, I'm not going to argue with you! And can't wait to add those to the collection. Thrilled to be able to have both colors in the set!
 
I still have a couple more racks and barrels in transit from CONUS but this is currently what I have on hand. I'm just pensive at the thought of going through the chore of cleaning all these suckers once the stragglers arrive in the mail, but I have been procrastinating on that task for far too long.

Seriously, incredible. What's your end goal? Looks like you're just missing secondary snappers and singles?

It's for a home Blakjack game, mostly for red and green chippers.....or lower stakes with the 1s. In practical terms, I have more than enough of each denom to run a game and make change comfortably.

It's now mostly down to buying bits and pieces here and there just to make the set look 'neater' in the hopes that it resembles antossfreak's set, instead of looking right now as though it got out of bed after some very bad sex with a hillbilly.

With additional denoms in transit, they will be fully represented in terms of primaries and secondaries except for secondary snappers which are still elusive for me.

There are 1s, 25s, 100s and 500s inbound and with those additions, I'm happy with the quantities of 1s, 5s, 25s, 500s. I don't really need more 1,000s for my requirements though if someone offered for sale a barrel of 1,000s, odds are good I won't be able to resist ;)

Can definitely do with a few more barrels of 2.5s and 100s though.

Very nice sets... I had a nice cash set at one time... These are my favorite Casino chips...

My goodness!

I was so happy I found an Empress Joliets pr0n thread. Then I saw the pictures and I'm not worthy but as it stands, I have a nice small set of these. I have completed the re-label of my NYNY $1s(custom Gear overlabel of Empress $1).

I absolutely am super pumped to get these for my next cash game. Whenever it happens. Just can't wait.
