Check this one out. Is it just a silver hot stamp that has COMPLETELY worn away? The depression looks way larger without anything in it I guess.

Yeah, the stamp is just really worn away. Looks like arc yellow and used to be the letter G perhaps.
Yes. I have a large number of these in chocolate, and many of them have little to no foil left in the hotstamp impression.
