Collecting interest for Faro Dunes cut cards, in poker and bridge sizes. It'd be one design with different artwork on each side (black and white).

These are based on my recreations of the dealer button (mostly, there is one notable difference if you can spot it). I do plan on tweaking it a little more (like have the text wrap closer to the sun).

I used their website chat option to ask a rep at the vendor to get a ballpark for how much it would cost to have these made, and it looks like the minimum order of 20 cards of a particular size is $110 per size, before taxes and shipping. There is also a $40 setup fee per design. So ~$300 for 40 cut cards (20 bridge, 20 poker).

That comes out to $7.50/cut card, before taxes and shipping to me (and also not counting reshipping to you). At that cost, I'd need a commitment from folks to buy at least 16-18 cut cards a particular size before I'd have them made, so I'm not out too much money if any remaining cut cards don't sell.

We can also just wait until the next cut card group buy, which should bring the price down quite a bit (at least half or more, I'd think), but let's see how many people might be interested in these even at the higher cost!

Please comment below with how many you'd be willing to buy at, say, ~$10/cut card shipped to you (factoring in taxes, shipping to me, and reshipping to you), and how many you might buy at, say, ~$4/cut card shipped to you (as part of a group buy). These numbers are just estimates, and not final.

This is not a commitment to buy, just gathering interest for now!

Edit: Here's the current counts at a potentially lower ~$2/cut card shipped to you. (New vendor, unknown to us what their quality is like, but worth a shot at this price point.) If anyone wants to revise their count, please comment below.

We're aiming to keep each size's quantity near increments of 50.

Edit: Here is the revised design:

@p5woody might be able to help with the design if needed.

I've been looking at other printers and I found one that could do it for ~$2/cut card including reshipping to you, if we order at least 50 of each size (and in increments of 50). Right now, we have enough interest on the poker-size (especially with Jim offering to buy 50 100 of them).

For bridge-size, we only have interest in 14-16 cut cards (including myself). That'd leave me with a bunch of unsold surplus (and the cost associated with it). I'm hoping more people express interest in bridge, because I don't want to do a poker-size only group by, darn it! :ROFLMAO:

Hopefuly this lower price will entice more interest! And we can also try a new vendor out (they seem legit, not too worried about that, but it's not a vendor we've used before, so the quality of their work/product is an unknown).

Edit: Well @extreme517 might not be the bridge-size savior we deserve, but the one we need... or however that Batman quote goes...

The vendor seem to only accept quantities in increments of 50 for each size (I will reach out to confirm), so ideally we'd aim for, say, totals close to 50 (45-48) or 100 (95-98) with a few spares. (The worst would be to have people wanting 55 cut cards of one size, because then I'd have to order 100 and be left with 45 cut cards unsold.)

@TheChipVault can cover a wide spread for poker-size, and @extreme517 and @GodStillBlesses can cover a wide spread for bridge-size. So it seems like we will have some flexibility to make the quantity increments work in our favor.

I'll make a table in the OP for this thread to better track desired # of cut cards in each size, and after counting those of us who want smaller amounts, we can see how much is left to reach the next increment of 50 for those who want larger quantities.

You can adjust mine more or less to make the increment you need.
